Hollywood director Tony Scott has committed suicide by jumping from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, California. This video is a tribute to him showing footage from several of his biggest movies.
The younger brother of Ridley Scott, Tony was born in the north of England in 1944. He made his name in the 1980s with films such as Top Gun and Beverly Hills Cop II, before adding to his CV in the 1990s with films such as Days Of Thunder and True Romance.
In more recent times he forged a working relationship with Denzel Washington, directing him in several great movies.
This video acts as a great tribute to Scott, as it reminds us of some of the films he directed and the quality of his work. Movies such as Top Gun, Crimson Tide, and Enemy Of The State were commercial and critical successes.
