This is some incredible footage of a train running through a marketplace in Bangkok.
On first view it’s impressive enough, as the stalls and temporary buildings are so close to the train line, you wonder how on earth it gets through.
And then it gets even better, because as soon as the train passes through, the market gets going again in a matter of seconds. Which is pretty damn amazing if you ask me.
I can only imagine there’s some kind of warning system to tell the people who work and shop at the market that there’s a massive train about to come through the middle of their businesses, or maybe they just wait until they feel the vibrations starting.
Whatever the truth, it’s weird to think that this happens in the 21st century, I thought we’d moved on a bit by now.
