The new Transformers movie is out this summer, and as it’s a reboot of sorts, we can hope that Michael Bay has delivered something closer to the original movie than the second or third movies.
The first full trailer for Transformers 4: Age Of Extinction suggests the truth is somewhere in between.
Mark Wahlberg has taken over from Shia LaBeouf as the human link to the Transformers. Which hopefully means a more mature performance is on the cards.
We get to tag along with that moment of discovery again, as Wahlberg’s character realizes he’s tinkering around with Optimus Prime.
However, the action scenes look as over-the-top as ever, as if Bay has never heard the saying that sometimes less is more.
Transformers 4: The Age Of Extinction is due for release in June, July, or August, depending on which country you reside in.
