I can’t emphasize enough how much I loathe the over-hyped Transformers franchise now. When I saw that there was an “honest” version of the trailer that pointed out all its shameful Hollywood aspects, it was quite refreshing.
As the honest narrator points out in the video, “It’s fu*king stupid.”
Obviously, a movie based on a bunch of toys can’t be full of depth, but the amount of product placement in this film is so rampant it’s laughable. After seeing enough re-runs of Transformers on cable, I can’t help but appreciate the voice-over facts.
I, for one, can’t wait to see more of these “Honest Trailers.”
