The demise of renowned Italian tenor, Luciano Pavarotti, is bound to sadden fans and music buffs all around the world. Being one of the most famous contemporary vocal performers, and one who brought opera to the people, he will be sorely missed.

This video is a tribute to his greatness. Pavarotti collaborates with James Brown, another legend, to produce an exhilarating rendition of Brown’s “It’s a Man’s World.” I envy every single person who was in the audience that day in Modena, Italy.

They’re both extremely powerful singers, masters of their genre. Both have voices that can make your hair stand on end. It’s truly amazing how they succeed in complementing each other without overshadowing the other. It’s a mark of their genius.
