Tron: Legacy is finally here, 30 years after the original Tron movie amazed and delighted audiences. Is it any good? That all depends on what you want out of a movie, I guess.
This is a movie that is splitting opinion pretty evenly down the middle. Those who love their special effects-laden visual feasts think Tron: Legacy is the absolute nuts. But those who like to think a little while watching a film aren’t so keen.
The big problem is the distinct lack of a strong storyline. It’s all a bit tepid and unnecessary, with the dialog and writing not exactly taxing your brain as you watch the pretty moving pictures.
I will go and see Tron: Legacy as I’m a fan of the original. But I get the feeling I’ll be left disappointed.
