This video shows a couple of TSA (Transportation Security Administration) patting down young children in an airport.
It was clearly posted with the bias that doing such a thing is unnecessary, wrong, and possibly even illegal. But opinions on the subject differ.
One argument is that there’s no need to pat children down as they clearly won’t be terrorists or drug mules. And that doing this is designed to get kids used to the idea of being searched at an early age.
Of course kids won’t be terrorists or drug mules, but adults can use kids in such ways, as has been seen throughout history.
The TSA agents clearly know what they’re doing and handle it in the right way. It may be uncomfortable to watch, but isn’t being uncomfortable better than being blown up?
