As a child, I remember making domino trails in my living room. There were never many dominoes as my family only had one box. That suited me though, as it took forever to stand them up. Invariably I’d nudge one with my finger and have to start again.
So I watched this video with great empathy for the filmmaker. In it, thousands of dominoes topple, starting from a table and eventually heading out his apartment door and down the street.
This guy is a master at the underrated art of the domino effect, using many surfaces of different heights to create something quite spectacular.
I would never have had the patience to create this. I’m just glad this domino wizard thought to capture it on film.
