This video shows Tom Cruise perched atop the highest pinnacle of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. This is the tallest building in the world, reaching 828 meters up into the air.
Which is enough to scare anyone. Except Tom Cruise, clearly.
It appears as though this was done to publicize Mission Impossible 4, official title Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The film has already wrapped so this can only have been for promo purposes.
Whatever it was for if it was actually Tom Cruise sat at the top of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai then the respect I have for the man has increased a little. It isn’t enough to make me suddenly love him, but I will likely see the film at the very least.
And shame on those YouTube commenters wishing he had jumped. Cruise may be annoying but he isn’t that annoying.
