Who said cats were cute and lovable? OK, that would be me then, on several different occasions. I admit it, I’m a cat lover and a dog hater. You can see why; cats are furry and adorable, dogs are muscular and menacing.
But sometimes the roles are reversed, and it’s the cat who attacks, completely reversing the ingrained notion we have about the two animals and their capacity to get along. I like to call this video, ‘When Cats Go Bad’.
This cat proper goes for the rottweiler, in the middle of the street, and with seemingly little provocation. Maybe the outcome would have been different if the dog hadn’t been on a lead but the cat clearly gets some Wolverine-style clawing action in. At least until the guy kicks it away like a chump.
Cats and dogs can get on with each other under the right circumstances but they seem set to remain lifelong enemies in most cases. Just beware that it’s not always the dog who comes out on top, as this emotionally scarred for life canine demonstrates.
