Featuring Kim Novak and James Stewart, Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo will long be remembered as a haunting yet tragically romantic film.
The first time I watched Vertigo, I was in my Film 101 class at university and it was towards the beginning of the semester. Though we watched – and picked apart – many movies after that, I still wrote about Vertigo in my final paper.
I try not to be a person who jumps on bandwagons, but I must admit – Hitchcock has a way of creating films that leave you just slightly uneasy throughout the whole film. Even with the elements of romance, this film is still… haunting.
