I personally have never flown on a plane, partly through fear, and partly through enjoying my holidays to Cornwall, in the South-West corner of England, too much.
I do however know what sort of demonstration is normally given at the start of a flight, with some fussy air steward lecturing you on what you should do, and not do, and how to act in case of an emergency.
This is Virgin America‘s new in flight safety video, and it does away with the stuffy demonstration, and replaces it with a fun, yet informative animation, which keeps you watching until the end.
More airlines should adopt this fun style, as it encourages people to actually take notice rather than just nod and smile. I now know better than ever what I’d do if ever I took a flight on a Virgin plane.
