Sub-tropical storm Beryl is still developing off the east coast of the United States. This video shows how it looks at the present time.
Beryl has come early in the season and surprised many meteorologists. The first and key piece of advice being issued is to avoid swimming in the sea. The currents can be so strong they will pull you under without warning.
Beryl is expected to eventually make landfall in Florida and dump a lot of rain on the region. This is partly being welcomed as the area is currently experiencing a sever drought.
However, I’d rather not be in the vicinity when this thing actually hits land. The rain will be torrential, the wind severe. All in all Beryl looks likely to be a nasty sub-tropical storm.
