Think you are too clever to be taken in by advertising tricks? Think again.
When I was young, I was taken to a special ‘young leaders’ conference as part of a school group.
There was a workshop there at which we learned some ‘tricks of the trade’ like putting glue into the ranch dressing to make it look thicker and creamier on screen.
Let’s just say that I haven’t had a lot of trust for media marketing ever since.
That being said, I don’t harbour any illusions that I am somehow immune from advertising. They are sneaky buggers…
