I grew up in tornado country, and I think I would much rather prepare for tornadoes than hurricanes. Something about the added influence of water scares the pants off me.
I have friends on the east coast, so I am checking in to make sure they are ready to go if hurricane Irene – or any hurricane, for that matter – does hit anywhere near them.
