“Bollywood actor and model Gauhar Khan was allegedly slapped by an audience member for wearing a short skirt during the recording of an Indian reality show on 30 November, according to the Hindustan Times.
“Mohammed Akil Mallick is accused of assault and criminal intimidation following the incident at the Film City studio in Goregaon, near Mumbai, during recording for the Raw Star music talent show.
“He reportedly told police officers that because she is Muslim, Khan should not wear revealing clothing or dance in a racy manner.”
