Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito found NOT GUILTY of murder by appeal court in Perugia and are set free.
“In 2009, Knox was convicted for the 2007 slaying of her former roommate Meredith Kercher. She was also found guilty of falsely accusing her former employer of the killing.
But Knox appealed the verdict … based, in part, on new information related to the DNA evidence in the case.” – TMZ.com
She was also confirmed guilty of defamation from accusing her boss of the murder and sentenced to three years in jail. But, considering she had already been in jail for four years, no extra time was required.
