I’m so happy to see video essays about this show because I am one of those who absolutely loved watching it.
Was it a perfect show? Absolutely not. Then again, what show really is?
I think what I really appreciate about it is that it didn’t treat me like an idiot when I was a kid. There were some really serious topics (as mentioned in the video) as well as some very complicated relationships that happened in the show.
Yes, kids’ minds need to be treated carefully, but it was also just nice to be treated well.
