“Another Bush baby has arrived.
“Barbara Bush and husband Craig Coyne welcomed their first child, a daughter named Cora, on Monday.
““With full hearts, Laura and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new granddaughter,” Barbara’s dad, former President George W. Bush, said in a statement posted to the George W. Bush Presidential Center’s Twitter account on Wednesday.
““Barbara gave birth to Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine — not far from our family home where Barbara and Craig were married,” he added. “Cora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful.”
“The news comes as a surprise, as Barbara, 39, had not previously announced that she and Coyne were expecting a child.”
