So far, the consensus seems to be that The Shallows is better than it sounds.

A while back I mentioned how I trusted Jeremy Jahns’ opinions and would take a look at movies based on them… but I’m really not sure this time. Really not sure.
I’m not much of a man vs nature viewer, not to say that the premise of this movie doesn’t intrigue me. Mostly for the ‘how can you fill an entire movie with this?’ part of things.
