“There is no verdict yet in the Karen Read murder trial after two days of deliberations. The jury of six men and six women has deliberated for about eight and a half hours so far in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham, Massachusetts.
“Read is charged with second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe in January 2022. She has pleaded not guilty. The jury began deliberating on Tuesday afternoon after closing arguments.”
