“Britney Spears’ family and friends were in talks to host an intervention for the pop star, Page Six can confirm.
“Amid growing concerns for Spears’ mental health, her husband, Sam Asghari, her manager, an interventionist and doctors planned to try to convince the “Hold Me Closer” singer, 41, to get treatment and sequester her in a house in Los Angeles for two months, TMZ reported Thursday.
“A source tells Page Six exclusively, however, that the intervention never took place because it was deemed “unnecessary.”
