“Islamic State has claimed responsibility for co-ordinated terror attacks across Brussels, killing 34 people and wounding nearly 200.
“The attacks began at Zaventem Airport, where witnesses reportedly heard shouting in Arabic before two blasts were set off in the departure area – one of which is thought to have been a suicide attack.
“Three suspects was pictured on CCTV, one wearing a white jacket and a hat alongside two other men who were probably suicide bombers.
“All three were pushing luggage trolleys through the terminal building.
“Local Belgian mayor Francis Vermeiren said the attackers ‘came in a taxi with their suitcases, their bombs were in their bags’.
“‘They put their suitcases on trolleys, the first two bombs exploded. The third also put his on a trolley but he must have panicked, it didn’t explode,’ he said.”
