Here’s the latest short from Pixar released last week as an extra on the WALL-E DVD. This 8 minute short takes place in the same world as WALL-E and even involves a cameo of every kid’s favorite robot.
If used correctly, this should translate to an 8 minute break from parenting.
The plot revolves around, BURN-E (short for Basic Utility Repair Nano Engineer), a robot who’s sole purpose is to repair lamps on a spaceship. As easy as it may seem, the job proves to be an onerous one for the poor machine. WALL-E and EVE’s cameo appearance make the situation even worse!
Even though I never saw the movie WALL-E, I’ll admit that this cute short intrigued me. It’s nice to know that universal slap-stick comedy still exists today.
