‘Tear-jerking bait.’ Now that’s a new one I’m going to have to remember for future use.
Would you still get teared up for a movie that packaged itself in one thing in the trailers and then actually is something different – and nastier – in the actual movie?
I think I would be skipping past tear territory and going straight toward ‘WTF I am not happy with this’ territory.
Then again, that’s just me.
