“COREY Feldman, the star of iconic ’80s films Goonies, Stand By Me and The Lost Boys, has spoken out about a reported culture of paedophilia in Hollywood, reports the New York Post.
“Fellow actor Elijah Wood recently said in an interview that paedophilia is Hollywood’s “evil secret”, claiming that “organised sexual abuse of children in Hollywood is rife”. (Wood later said many of his comments were taken out of context.)
“In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Feldman backed up Wood’s claims, speaking out about his late best friend Corey Haim’s rape by a producer at age 11, and the abundance of children’s parties where predators groomed their targets.
““With me, there were some molestations and it did come from several hands, so to speak, but with Corey [Haim], his was direct rape, whereas mine was not actual rape. I believe that Haim’s rapist was probably connected to something bigger and that is probably how he has remained protected for all these years.”
