“The Duchess of Cambridge has turned photographer for the first official pictures of her daughter Princess Charlotte.
“She photographed the new princess in mid-May at the royal couple’s country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
“The four photographs, released by Kensington Palace on Sunday morning, continue a tradition of relaxed family portraits for Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.
“And in a nod to the digital-thinking palace, one photo was released to followers of the Kensington Palace Twitter stream an hour before the images were released to the mainstream press.”
