“Heavy rain expected to be accompanied by 40-60 mph winds hit the New York City area Tuesday afternoon, threatening to disrupt the Wednesday morning commute.
“The National Weather Advisory warned that high winds could lead to New York residents waking Wednesday morning to power outages caused by falling tree limbs, while an overnight coastal flood advisory was also in effect for parts of eastern New Jersey.”
