I watched this last night, and I’m very glad he emphasised that this is part one of a two-part episode because, on its own? Yeah, I was less than impressed.
That being said, I do love the ‘history lesson’, so to say, in the episode. I did not see it coming who that little boy would be. And the hands in the ground? Pretty damn creepy.
Not weeping angels category, but definitely a great visual.
Missy definitely wins this episode as far as characterisation.
