In a sensational move to bring USA in line with the rest of the world, (perhaps) the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell law has been repealed.
This means Gay military can now be open about their sexuality in the military without fears of the military preventing them from serving.
Well, I guess we will have to wait and see; I’m thinking it will take a lot more than repealing a law to prevent the harassment and bastardry that is typical in such environments.
Maybe what this means is something more like, ‘Now, when discrimination against gays happens, the perpetrators can be charged’.
