Virgina has seen its second most powerful earthquake rumble on Tuesday with millions on the east coast feeling it and monuments being closed.
So far so good in regards to injuries and damange, but it remains to be seen if that continues to be the case.
“It’s one of the largest that we’ve had there,” said U.S. Geological Survey seismologist Lucy Jones.
Most of the federal buildings reopened by late in the day, but caution is being exercised when it comes to reopening the more iconic structures in the area.
