Hundreds of people are now ill due to eggs that have been linked to salmonella in three states – possibly more.
This fairly recent outbreak has officials urging caution when it comes to your eggs. If you’re not sure about your eggs, then it’s best to throw them out for the time being.
As the recall expands to 380 million eggs, the industry is sure to take a dramatic hit. How well it will recover depends on how fast the issue is taken care of.
Even then, I’m sure people who don’t get extra eggs on their own or their neighbours farms will be thinking twice before eating them for a long while to come.
