Harry Potter star Emma Watson is set to play Beauty in Guillermo Del Toro’s upcoming adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
According to Huffington Post, “It’d be the first undisputed lead role for Watson; she’s due to star in the ensemble of the teen drama adaptation, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” and has a supporting role in the Michelle Williams-starring “My Week With Marilyn.””
With Del Toro’s penchant for darker, more violent films, it will be interesting to see which direction he takes this latest adaptions.
All I know is that it’s sure to be a hit with Emma Watson Fans.
