Yeah, it wouldn’t be Valentine’s Day without someone taking the piss out of the day in some form.
Over the course of my life, I’ve gone from ‘oh, that’s nice’ to a general sort of ambivalence about Valentine’s Day.
I think if you like it, you like it. Have some fun, go on your date, do your thing. But if you feel anything other than positive about it (including ‘forced to do something’) then stuff it. There are plenty of cooler holidays out there.
