“Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman reported to prison today.
“…Huffman, an Oscar-nominated actress, reported to federal prison in Dublin, California to serve a 14-day sentence for her role in the largest college admissions scandal in U.S. history.
“Huffman is expected to serve all 14 days in prison, since there is no “time off for good behavior” for a sentence in federal prison that is less than one year.
“U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani also ruled that Huffman, 56, will serve one year probation, pay a $30,000 fine and perform 250 hours of community service.
“Huffman pleaded guilty in May to one charge of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
