“Hasna Aitboulahcen lived a secular life, drinking alcohol and rarely visiting a mosque. She was an extrovert nicknamed the “cowgirl” because of her love of hats.
“The Islamic State fanatic is a cousin of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the mastermind of last Friday’s massacres who was killed in the dramatic seven-hour siege on Wednesday.
“The daughter of a Moroccan immigrant, Aitboulahcen had been under police surveillance because her name came up in a drug-trafficking case, a police union official told The Associated Press.”
