Each year, the ‘famous-for-being-famous gather for a gratuitous ‘ain’t we great’ glad-handing and award giving. This time it’s the Emmys and Jane Lynch runs the opener for 2011.
It’s all you could want, schlock and fake glamour and so sickly sweet it epitomises all the aspects of glamour TV you either love with a passion or hate even more.
But here, in all its faux glory, is the opening number for the 2011 Emmy Awards, replete with the (too saccharine? Firmly tongue-in-cheek?) Jane Lynch.
