A Mythbusters cannonball experiment went all kinds of wrong when it left the testing facility and crashed into some houses and a minivan!
All in a day’s work…
“It was crazy. That’s for sure,” Sgt. J.D. Nelson of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Department told the Daily News.
“If someone asked me two days ago, ‘Could this homemade cannon shoot that far, off a hill into this neighborhood?’ I would have said no way. But now it’s confirmed.”
Confirmed, to say the least. Dubbed a ‘suburban pinball’, it was lucky that no one was hurt as the cannonball made its way to it’s resting place.
