With swearing being, more or less, a part of Australian culture, the Gruen Transfer advertisers had a tough sell trying to come up with ads to encourage Australians to stop swearing.
The Gruen Transfer is an absolutely brilliant Australian show that takes a look at advertising and breaks it down.
At the end of each show, they pit two advertisers against each other and challenge them to come up with an ad for something outrageous.
(This is one example. Another one that comes to mind is when they were challenged to sell air.)
