I understand more references in this video than the actual YouTube Rewind – and I don’t* even subscribe to PewDiePie.

How funny would it be if YouTube saw this, saw how well it’s doing, and decided to ask PewDiePie to be a ‘creative consultant’ with the YouTube Rewind next year.
That’s either justice or irony. Or both, really.
Either way, I really enjoyed this, and it was nice to get more of the references!
