“Gobekli Tepe is a hilltop sanctuary built on the highest point of an elongated mountain ridge about 15 km northeast of the Kurdish town of Urfa in northern Kurdistan. The site, currently undergoing excavation…, was erected by hunter-gatherers…11,500 years ago…”
While I would have preferred someone a little less biased to check out the place and talk about it, this video is a good introduction to the intrigue of Gobekli Tepe.
While people like this might like to claim this site as their own, the implication of such a structure being built so long ago holds implications that are far more reaching than any one religion.
I just wish they could have made this video without all the distracting wailing in the background.
