I’m undecided. Is she good enough to perform this awesomely epic song from my youth? Or does she not cut it?
I have listened to Iris so many times – traditional and acoustic version – over the years that it is almost hard to listen to it with someone else singing even part of it.
But I don’t want to automatically dismiss Avril on that basis…
So yeah, I’m undecided on whether I actually like this version of Iris or not. Argh! Someone help me to decide. Does this add to the song for you or do you think it is a bit crap?
