The village of Coverack in Cornwall has been hit by devastating flash flooding, the true scale of which has yet to be truly realised.
Localised flash flooding was caused by thunderstorms, taking out houses and roads. Many people needed to be winched to safety from the roofs of their houses.
We can only hope that casualties and injuries are at an absolute low and that the clean up will go swiftly so people can get back to their normal lives as soon as possible.
