Wow. Things were going so well and were really funny… Then things went downhill in a hurry at the end.
It’s amazing what a tiny shift in perspective can do to even the most innocent appearing songs, isn’t it? Even ‘Christmas Shoes’ has a dark and twisted side.
I wonder how much crap he has gotten, is getting and/or will get for taking on something like this song. I certainly don’t envy the man, but I’m thankful for the laugh.
