Universal Pictures Proudly presents, the film that has absolutely no dialogue whatsoever and would have been way way wayyyyy better had it not been a musical film. Movie Musicals are not a good ideaaaa! Too true and funny at the same time!
Over two and a half hours of CGI crane shots. “I have a very annoying vibratooo!” Yes, this really is the death of Russell Crowe’s acting career. They couldn’t have phrased this entire movie any better.
I know what you’re thinking, all you musical lovers out there….Rent was better than this. Better yet, “Chicago” kicked this film’s a**. Let’s not make an entire movie out of poor singing. These people are actors. Not musicians. I have yet to see a musical beat the “Moulin Rouge” in entertainment and I doubt one ever will.
But two things to take away as examples: Russel Crowe…can not sing. More importantly, Anne Hathaway becomes the most pathetic yet desirable woman in Paris in just two verses of song and blames everything on Hugh Jackman for NO REASON.
So what was this movie about again? Oh yes, pathetic people. Good job.
