“Kotb has not appeared live on Today since February 17, though she was featured in a pre-taped President’s Day episode on February 20.
“Kotb’s weekly podcast, Making Space, did not release a new episode on Monday—its most recent episode was released on February 20.
“NBC personalities like Craig Melvin, Tom Llamas, Willie Geist and Sheinelle Jones have filled in for Kotb during her absence.
“On Tuesday, co-anchor Savannah Guthrie abruptly left the broadcast mid-show, though Jones said she tested positive for Covid-19 after not feeling well, and headed home.”
