“A MASSIVE collision left the lives of several Summer Bay residents hanging in the balance on Home and Away’s cliffhanger finale tonight.
“Viewers will have to wait until next year to find out if their favourites survive the multi-car crash, which also involved a bus leaving the road and rolling several times.
“The accident was caused by a hysterical Sophie (Bridgette Sneddon), who had kidnapped her ex, Nate (Kyle Pryor). Following tense scenes, in which she’d knocked him out and doused him in petrol, she was attempting to leave with him “for a fresh start”.
“When Sophie realised Nate wasn’t playing along, she attempted to jump out of the moving vehicle, causing him to swerve into the path of the bus.”
