Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich had been found guily on seventeen counts and given the masses one more example to cite for reasons not to trust politicians.
Too many lies, too much greed, too many easy rides have brought us to the point where, for a lot of people, politicians rank somewhere down the bottom of the moral scale along with used car salesmen and lawyers.
Rod Blagojevich is pretty much a classic case, except, whether he has annoyed his backers or just been so obvious even the back room guys can’t help him, he has been convicted on seventeen counts for corruption, including fraud, attempted extortion and bribery.
And even more distrubing, we’re left wondering just what we are seeing. Behind all this, Blagojevich actually never made any money. And THAT just brings up more questions.
