In hopes to hype up its new drama series, HBO is offering the first 15 episodes of ‘In Treatment’ free to the public.
The show is produced by Mark Wahlberg and is HBO’s first serial drama; which means that it runs 5 nights a week.
‘In Treatment’ is based on the hit Israeli show ‘Betipul’ and focuses around psychoanalyst Paul Weston’s (Gabriel Byrne) weekly patients. While treating his patients he deals with his own obstacles.
Since the show will run for a total of 43 episodes, HBO, in a goal to lower potential entry barriers, sees it fit to also offer 2 minute recaps for those of you who don’t have 28 minutes to spare (the average length of each episode).
This is the official trailer for the series. As you can tell, the series isn’t really a high budget production. Entire episodes may only involve two people talking, yet it is still very engaging and, not to mention, a unique concept.
