JAY Z’s new album “Magna Carta Holy Grail” comes to Samsung Galaxy fans first. Be among the first million to download the app on June 24th and get the album free July 4th, three days before the rest of the world.
Jay-Z interrupted the Spurs-Heat game last night to drop a three-minute video that ended up being part Samsung commercial and part promo for his new album, “Magna Carta Holy Grail.”
The rapper is trying a new strategy for the release of his 12th album. One million copies will be released to Samsung users in the form of a mobile app on July 4, three days before it is available to the rest of the public. Samsung paid $5 each for the albums, according to the Wall Street Journal.
